Hello! I have a question: why does Cubase Pro 15 automatically play the project immediately after loading? I haven’t created any previews, and the project isn’t played when closing it.
Never happened here.
Can you provide more info about your system (OS) and MIDI remotes?
Maybe Cubase thinks your project is so good that it immediately plays it for the world to hear.
Would explain why this never happened with my projects…![]()
I noticed something strange. When I have an active hub where I select my projects, after selecting and pressing ENTER or clicking OPEN with the mouse, the project opens normally and is not played automatically. However, when I select a project with the mouse and press the space bar, and then load it, it plays automatically after loading. Maybe it’s nothing unusual, but that’s what happens.
The space bar is the default Play command in Cubase ![]()
Yes, I know that, of course, but I didn’t know that it works before loading the project.
Maybe you just discovered a secret easter egg function in Cubase?
I just tried - same here ![]()
Out of habit, I select a given project with the mouse and press the small enter key on the numeric keypad to load it, and the project starts playing again after loading. I don’t really like this, and I hope it will be fixed.
It’s Logic behaviour, from pre-mac times of eMagic.
