I would really like to have a function that automatically colors tracks by tags (for example: Kick, Snare, Hat, Lead Vocal) like people are doing in the project logical editor, but I would like to have a separate menu that allows me to color all tracks in the project with the desired colors using a single button, or when importing files, I would like for the files to automatically adopt the selected color based on their name. This would be incredibly cool!

You can make your own Project Logical Editor presets for this. Then you can make a macro to fire all these PLEs via one Key Command.
