I could not exactly find this request but have found similar.
Coming from Studio One, one thing I really miss is that a folder with the song name is automatically created when starting a new song. It could just be an option in preferences if other users do not like it.
Background:
I write a lot of music and in several genres and projects. Sometimes for others, sometime for myself or just brain storming using a stopwatch. Just making idea starters.
I never think of title when starting, just a date (YYYY-MM-DD Which_DAW)
Save the brainstorms to an inbox for later use.
Every time I start a project, choosing a template, select the inbox to save it, making a folder with the name, remember to copy the name, save the project to this folder pasting the file name.
The reason for this workflow is to keep audiofiles for this project gathered from the beginning.

Thanks for a fantastic program, or should say all these great programs. I’m using Cubase and Dorico, plus SL for music production.
I’m lost here…when you start a new project it prompts you for a folder. You can use an existing one or a new folder you can name. Then when you Cubendo opens you do a Save As and use the same name. As far as timestamping Windows already does that for me…though I use Save As for alternative experiments and renaming
For instance Love is for Suckers may become Wunderlust just by a Save As name change.

To explain more. Like in PT or Studio One, when creating a new session you choose the folder and type the filename. Then the project is created inside a folder with the project name, and the project file inside.
Then as in Cubase Audio folders etc are automatically created inside.
