Automatically Reopen Hub When Closing Project?

I often have multiple projects in progress and when closing one, immediately open another. When closing one project, it would be very handy to have the hub automatically open instead of having to go up to the menu. Is there an option somewhere to enable this?

Hi,

Add the optional feature-request tag to your post.

Myself, I would change it a bit to: “Show the Hub when you choose a project and there is no other (even inactive) opened project.” Myself, I don’t want to see the Hub, if I close a project but there is other project open.

Load one project at a time?
Sorry, being facetious.
But I find having multiple projects open doesn’t speed thing up by much.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I don’t open multiple projects at once, but I do have multiple projects in the works, and I bounce back and forth between them. Having the Hub automatically reopen when closing one project would speed up opening another project because the list of recent projects would be right there on the screen in the Hub window. It would eliminated moving the mouse across the screen and clicking Hub then clicking Open Hub.

Good idea, done.

I thought the Hub appearing on close project was not only the default but unavoidable. Guys here have complained about that behaviour. It always opens when I close a project.
Maybe there’s an option somewhere?

Well, if someone can tell me how to enable that, I would be grateful! When I close a project, the hub does not automatically reappear. I’m running Cubase Pro 14 (current patch level) on a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.7.5, if that matters.

I can’t get the hub to not open when I close a project. I don’t think it’s an optional behaviour.
I’m on Windows 11.

Hello,

the behaviour is different on the two platforms: on Windows, Hub always reopens when closing the last project, on Mac it never does.

We have a recent Feature Request in our backlog to change the behaviour on Mac.
