Automatically replace figured bass in place of lyrics with proper figured bass functionality

Hi,

I downloaded the XML from the following site:

Matthäuspassion - Tobis Notenarchiv

It appears to have been created with Capella. The basso continuo figures are entered as lyrics, and the symbols are not compatible with Dorico:

Is there a clever way to convert this automatically?

What I could do is to replace the text in the MusicXML file using regular expressions, but it doesn’t seem very easy.
