I am using the option “Sync Selection in Project Window and MixConsole” all the time. This works very well for audio tracks, which are automatically shown and easily edited in the Channel Settings window when selected in the Project Window.
When I select a MIDI track in the project window, the channel settings window shows me the inserts, sends and master fader of this MIDI track. In my workflow, this is completely useless. What I’d prefer to see there is the corresponding instrument channel, like when I press the “Edit Instrument Channel” button at the bottom of the inspector. Unfortunately it isn’t even possible to assign a key command to this button.
It would be very useful if there was an option to automatically see the corresponding Instrument Channel in the Channel Settings window instead of the MIDI channel.
