In my not-terribly-deep usage of Dorico, it’s occurred to me that it would useful for some (many?) types of signposts to be visible only in certain modes. The one I think about all the time is the System Break signpost. It’s of paramount importance in Engrave mode, but I’d be happy to never see it in Write mode (it’s always on top of my chord symbols). Maybe it would be simpler to have a key command to toggle signposts, but I can toggle between Write/Engrave with key commands. Maybe there are enough other signposts like this one to consider a feature here.
The System Break signpost, like many other items, is movable in Write mode with keys. Very handy when moving system breaks without using Engrave Mode.
You can toggle signposts on and off. (Use the jump bar and type signposts. If a command key is assigned it will show you. If not, you can assign one!)
Also, you can choose which ones you want to see. (view->signposts menu).
Thank you for telling me about the jump bar and ability to assign key equivalents! Somehow I had no idea…
