Automating bringing selected track into view?

Hey guys,

I have a selected track which is out of view and I want to bring into view (without using the Find command). On this thread Martin suggested to use the visibility list: Navigating to selected track in main project window?

Here’s a video demonstrating this:

My question: Is there a way to automate this with a key command?
A key that would bring the currently selected track into view

Hi,

If you can see the track in the Visibility list, you can click on it in the Visibility list, to scroll the track list.

No, there is no Key Command to scroll the window to the selected track.

What I’d like to suggest please is that when using the command “show all tracks” in the visibility list, the current selected track will remain in focus.

Currently when showing tracks with data for example, and then switching to showing all tracks, you lose focus of the selected track, and it would be much more convenient to still see it (without going to the visibility list and clicking on it.
