I have quick controls assigned to a mpk261 knobs. It all works as expected until I want to automate. In writing mode, as soon as the controller starts moving, the track selection jumps to another track and even if I click back to the right track, track selection will be stuck to the “jumped” track while in write mode.
This issue is still around… I’ve just started to work out Quick Controls and this issue is troubling.
I have QC controlling the Mod Wheel. I arm the track (the ‘Write’ function). I start playback and, when I move the MW, the focus jumps to what seems to be the last track (or in this case, the automation lane) that I edited. I try doing all kinds of things to get it to stop. Eventually it does, but I’m don’t know why.
Here’s a bad video of it - you can’t see when I move the MW except when the focus jumps on the screen.
By the way… I’m in Cubase 13.0.3.
