Automating sample start/stop setting

Hi,everyone.
I wonder if there is a way to have HALion automatically set start/stop markers according to the actual audio contained in the sample file or even to trim the samples according to this criteria. I am trying to avoid having to do this manually with each and every sample. If it’s not currently possible within HALion, what’s the best way to do this in Cubase to reduce the amount of manual operations processing a huge sample pool?

I remember once processing lots of samples in a free sound editor called Wavosaur. What it did on sample import was automatically setting sample start marker, so all I needed to do was double clicking the space between the file start and the sample start marker to select it and then pressing Delete. That was the fastest methodology I was ever able to come up with. I guess that’s what I’m looking for in HALion or Cubase.

Turns out using “Detect Silence” in Cubase works very well for me detecting and removing silence in an audio clip before I import it into HALion.
