Automation follow events issue

First issue: Automation doesn’t follow events when using Set Spacer between selected events. Obviously the option is checked.

Second Issue: If I want to use the shuffle option to insert a region between other regions without overwriting existing automations I have to uncheck ‘Automation follow events’ but If I do so when I insert the new region the preexistent automation doesn’t nudge with regions. So…it’s an headache. :face_with_head_bandage:

Is it possible to simplify in new version/update/manteinance this? Please insert a paste command that includes an automation paste option (paste with automation or paste without automation) while keeping ‘Automation follow events’ solely about its primary function.

What do you mean by Set Spacer, please?

These two sound like they are against each other. Do you want to nudge or not?

edit → functions → set spacer between selected events

yes, nudge/move as a result of a paste action with grid shuffle option.
I want to paste a region without pasting his automation over the existing one. The only way to do this is to have 'Automation follow events’ option unchecked, but with this option unchecked when you paste the region and the existing regions shift (as a result of the shuffle option) you can’t have the automation follows regions. If you activate 'Automation follow events’ the automation shifts but is also overwritten. So…
