this is my first posting here, i hope this is the correct place to ask.
I have a problem using the pitch automation in the pitch shift plug-in. the automation does have an effect, but it acts way too early. i have visually confirmed, that the pitch control in the plugin moves exactly when i expect it to but the sound change happens way to early.
i recorded a video of what it looks and sounds like, but the forum doesn’t let me post it, just remove the blanks from the link below to see what it sounds and looks like.
to make sure it is not some general problem with automation, i have tried the same with volume automation and it worked perfectly as expected.
am i doing something wrong or is this some sort of bug?
I just came here looking to see if anyone else had mentioned the bugged pitch shifter automation. In my case, if I automate a ramp up or down to a new pitch, instead of shifting to that new pitch over the course of the ramp length, it just immediately jumps to the final pitch as soon as soon as the playhead hits the first point in the automation ramp. Really hope it’s fixed soon.
ok, so i am not the only one…i thought i was going crazy. really hoping for a bugfix. i actually got the cubase upgrade for my son as a pre-christmas gift specifically because he likes automating a lot of stuff, so he was a bit disappointed that the automation here is not working properly.
