Automation loses focus and stops recording

Hi!

Trying to record automation with quick controls
and when I try to do it, the focus shifts from the track to the automation lane of the automated parameter and that’s it. That’s the end of the automation recording.
Sometimes, though, everything is recorded fine.
Auto-latch mode is on

I’ve had similar issues. I’m not in front of my setup now but if I remember right I had to turn off ‘Track selection follows edit selection’ or similarly named setting to while recording to not loose the connection.
