When using my ModWheel for writing automation to track, I can see the slider in the Vst moves accordingly, but nothing is written to track.
However, when moving the slider in the Vst by using the mouse, the automation is written to track as expected.
Any suggestions to why the Modwheel is connected to the VST but not to Cubase (11 pro)?

Do you need automation for recording modwheel? It’s not sufficient to just record the MIDI CC straight to the MIDI track?
Are you using MIDI Remote or the legacy Generic remote?
