Automation Not tied to Tempo Grid

I am working in a project mostly of MIDI tracks. ALL of them are set to Musical mode.

When in a complex edit, I slow the tempo down by disabling the tempo track and entering a lower tempo. This normally works great, even in this project. I toggle the tempo track on and off as needed, events and automation stay on the grid.

But for a few of the tracks (and particularly the one I am working on now), I notice that its automation is not tied to the grid, and is moved around. I show an example of this below for one automation point, before and after toggling.

Again most of my tracks are totally fine. All events stay on the grid, though I do notice a couple of folder track events shuffle around and change size. Even then, those folder events are just the automatically created ones that show the contents of its tracks, and the track contents are not changing. I am mentioning this just in case it helps to get to the problem/solution. The track in question is in one of the folders with this observation. I don’t think folders can be set Musical mode.

I noticed someone had this type of issue a while back with no solution, and not much else on this in the forums. So hoping the community can help me out.

Thank you in advance!

Update:

My issue stopped after I switched the track in question to from Musical mode, to linear, and then back to Musical (while the tempo track was enabled). So feels like some sort of bug, but glad I found this work-around. I don’t remember why I considered that; posting here in case it helps someone out.

ps, I still observe the folder track shuffle, but again, it doesn’t actually change anything structurally (I do think its likely that there is an underlying muted/disabled track I don’t care about that is moving because its linear mode or has the same bug as above that is causing the shuffling)
