First of all, sorry for the possible language problems, but I’m writing with a translator.
I’ve run into a problem where I want to automate, but for some reason I can only change the value with the mouse, which often causes difficulties, starting with the fact that the automation bar has to be really enlarged, and it doesn’t necessarily use the same auxiliary grid for the points. I’m thinking that for example the value is 0, then I start moving it with the mouse, and it goes like this: 0db - 0.2db - 0.4db. Then I move on to the next point, and it goes like this: 0db - 0.3db - 0.6db, etc. Which can be quite confusing on a short section…
I’ve seen others write about this before, and I’ve tried what they wrote. I turned on the Info line, then selected the point I wanted to change. I entered the desired value, but after pressing enter, the entered value was replaced with this: -inf
It is turned on whenever Cubase is in a particular festive mood:
“Our finest gifts we bring
Pa-rum pum-pum-pum
To lay before the King
Pa-rum pum-pum-pum”
I am sorry, I was just being silly. That’s from a song called Little Drummer Boy by Neil Diamond. Param reminded me of this signature line.
Please, just ignore it !
