Hi,
Is there an option in Cubase where touching a parameter on an instrument or fx makes Cubase to show the automation lane for that parameter? Or the only options are recording first or selecting from the list?

The only command I know is “show used automation lanes”

What I mean with show is to create an empty lane for the touched parameter so you can start drawing automation without recording.
In Ableton Live, automation lane shows whatever parameter you touch and then you can start drawing without recording any data first.
I was trying to find a similar way.
This is something I’ve been wanting ever since switching to Cubase. I don’t think people realize how much time this feature would save. Was hoping 11 would have it but I haven’t had any luck finding anything of the sort.
