Something I never quite understood in Cubase…
if I record automation changes (for example lets say the filter cutoff on a VSTi) using the mouse, it records it into the automation lane. But if I try to record automation by turning a knob with a midi controller mapped to the filter cutoff of the VSTi, then I can only record automation data in a Midi channel, NOT the automation lane itself. Is there any way I can have my automation lane pick up midi changes?
