Automation Track shows midi data?

Good Day.

I’m on a trial version of Cubase 14 elements, possible upgrade from Cubase 13 elements.

For Cubase 14, the automation tracks also display the midi data. The problem is it makes a complete mess of the automation track. I don’t need to see the midi data in the automation track since I can see the midi data just above it.

I looked in the Preferences to see if I could turn that off but couldn’t find anything.

Any ideas how to turn this feature off?

Hi,

You can show/hide the parent’s track data in the Automation Panel, which is Cubase Pro only. And the default setting for Cubase Elements has changed in C14. You cannot change the in Cubase 14 Elements.

Thanks for your reply Martin.

It’s too bad the default setting changed in C14. It kind of dampens my enthusiasm for upgrading. With the midi data displaying, it makes the automation track harder to read.
