Automation track. Where's the line in fast tempi?

I apologise for asking something that is likely very basic, but when I create a flow in 2/2 meter and set the tempo to a half note = 144, the tempo line in the automation time track disappears out of view because it reads it as being a quarter note to 288 and the automation track only goes to 250. I’m obviously missing something here. Please advise.

You’re not missing anything. At present that’s the maximum value shown in the tempo track.
