I’m currently using Cubase Pro 13. I have a volume automation on track, and I am to use the Trim function with Freeze Trim set to Pass-End. However, while in stop mode, every time I use the channel fader to change the Trim it just bounces back to zero and doesn’t record the change. See short video below.
Strangely, when I enter play mode, I can then use the channel fader. The manual says Trim can be used either in stop mode or play mode, and doesn’t mention anything about Pass-End only operating in Play mode. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
For the time being I’m able to get around this, by setting the Freeze Trim option to either Manual or On Leaving Trim Mode, as the channel fader works as expected, but it just an extra step in the workflow.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
