I’ve recently ran into a problem where Auto Tune Artist 9 is crashing Cubase 15.0.10 when opening old projects where Auto Tune is inserted in. The plugin does load in a new empty project and works fine. I’ve contacted Antares but their solutions don’t seem to work. I’m using AT 9.5.0.89, have tried reinstalling Auto Tune and reinstalled the iLok. They basically told me to upgrade to the latest version.. Did something change in Cubase 15.0.10 that causes this?
In the stack trace there is a Spire-1.1.dll listed, that is loaded before AutoTune. I don’t know what that is, is that another plugin or such?
So from the rest it is clearly AutoTune that is crashing and taking Cubase down.
That is Reveal Sound Spire which is a synth vst. Haven’t had issues with that. I also experience the same issue on 15.0.6. It kind of came out of nowhere. Not sure where to look I haven’t really changed anything recently. I’ve tried putting the old preferences folder back my backup but that doesn’t change anything. I also loaded the project without any plugins besides Auto Tune but it still crashes instantly when loading the channel where Auto Tune is inserted on.
Well I’ve fixed the problem by installing version 9.6. I have no clue what went wrong but I’m glad it’s fixed lol!
