Avid Control app

I was in the middle of a session and suddenly the Avid Control app disconnected and will not reconnect. Up until this point it had worked fine. Now, nothing. Reinstalled, restarted etc etc. Still nothing.

I’m running Cubase in Windows and attempting to connect to it with an iPhone 11, via a 2.4 netgear WiFi extender, which is in turn connected to a regular 2.4/5 home broadband router. As far as I know (which isn’t much) nothing at all has changed to make it stop working. I primarily record myself, so the Avid app has been a godsend. And it worked really well up till today! I’ve been tearing my hair out for hours now. I’m not that knowledgable with WiFi or eucon but I’ve attempted to troubleshoot as best as I can. Can anyone help?

you better ask Apple or Avid since these are the main players in that case…

I heard much about connection issues with iOS without the knowledge to solve this…

This of course wouldn’t be an issue if Steinberg awoke from their slumber to improve the Cubase IC Pro app :expressionless:
