Avoid initialising content missing libraries when external hard disk is disconnected

Hello,
Is there any way to avoid checking for connected libraries at startup?
I decided to install all the VST sound coming from Nuendo even if I don’t use them regularly. For this reason I decided to move them on an external drive. Unfortunately when the external drive is not present (I work as on-site recording and mixing facility for classical music) which is the most of the time I’m using my laptop, Nuendo is checking for connected libraries at startup so I have to click around 30 times on “ignore” button… I’d like to be able to use VST sound libraries when I need but also to be able to work without them connected when I don’t need…
