My AXIOM PRO 25 will input midi to a track which will play back but I can not monitor the keyboard even though the track (Instrument Track) is record enabled and the monitor button is lit. I get no sound from the keyboard while recording or monitoring even though the midi input signal shows on the transport meter and the mixer.
AXIOM is pure MIDI controller, right? So if you have MIDI activity but no sound in Cubase, problem isn’t AXIOM/Cubase interaction but one of:
- Your Instrument track setup. So what VST instrument is selected for your track and where is the track output routed to?
- Audio setup. What kind of audio interface you are using? Which driver are you using for your audio interface?
