How can I change B Flat into Bb

I normally copy the ♭ from a text written with music text (or from a character map)…

The default name is just trumpet, and the pitch is added automatically in Layout Options.

You are right Jesper! Sometimes I remain stuck to very old Dorico versions…

(But you can have exactly what you want in the names)

Go to Layout Options > Staves and Systems > Staff Labels and make sure that Show player name instead of instrument names is not enabled.
