Back to the basic tools of the score editor

Hi,

The Score Editor has become, like the rest of Cubase, a very powerful and comprehensive tool.
We’ve come a long way from the early versions (I started with Pro 24, and I’ve still got the blue box  )
But at the same time, it has lost some of its simplicity and ease when it comes to editing notes.
Since Cubase 14, I no longer use Score Edit, as I can not increase or decrease a pitch using right-click and left-click; and what have the handles, the buttons for changing enharmonic equivalents, and the context menu for changing tools – note, pointer, etc. – become?
Another point: is there a way to place the cursor wherever you want in the score editor, as we could do up to Cubase 13?
Another issue is that, once you’ve created a note, there’s no longer a context menu as there was, at least up to Cubase 13, which allowed you to return to the arrow – if only to avoid hearing a sound when you move the mouse vertically?

I know some of these questions have already been asked, and perhaps there have been changes I’m not aware of, but is there any hope of these tools returning, as I find them indispensable?
Thank you, and apologies for the long message.
Edmond
