OS: Windows 11 64 Bit
Backbone doesn’t show up on the vst list, not in ableton nor in reaper… in reaper it’s within the failed to scan list…
It’s activated with the software licenser on my computer but I don’t get it to work…

There are a couple of other threads about this issue - and both seem to indicate that Intel removing AVX support from their new CPUs may be the problem (and therefore possibly unrelated to Windows 11):

Is there a way to get Backbone 1.5 to work on a non AVX-enabled PC? I’ve only just found out from reading forum posts that the thing uses AVX. It is not mentioned in Steinberg’s system requirements Backbone: Drum Re-Synthesizer | Steinberg . I am running Windows 11 22H2
. In Cubase 12 it just gets added to the Blocklist which is frustrating. Re-enabling it does not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just a thought, are all of you having the blacklist issues running a non AVX cpu? Could be that the new drumgan sony part needs AVX or is not coded properly to work on non AVX cpu’s.
