You can see from the gif below that when Backspace is held down, eventually the wrong lyric is loaded into the popover.
I would suggest not doing that. If you want to delete a long run of lyrics, Select More followed by Delete is going to be much more efficient and not risk running into this kind of problem.
Yeah, it’s rare that I need to delete a large chunk of lyrics anyways, just thought I’d pass it along.
