Backspace stopped working

Hello! My backspace button has become dead to Dorico. There is no response to pressing backspace in any part of the application that I can find. In all other Apps, ie email etc, it works fine. Any ideas?

There’s another thread with the exact problem. You might have changed inadvertently what it does, in the Preferences>Key Commands editor… Go there, type delete in the search field and make sure everything is there as in my picture…

I use Dorico 4.0.10 on my MacBook Air (M1, 2020) running macOS Monterey 12.2.1. Somehow I cannot delete anything I selected on my score by pressing ⌫ (‘Delete’) key.
