I am looking for the location of the backup file, indeed we can make changes except that I would like to secure these changes.
In case of reinitialization of cubase.

Looks like your using windows, the file is “Scale Presets.xml” and it’s saved here by default:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 12_64
