Bar lines and metronome click don't line up?

Hello all, I’m a relatively new user to Cubase (slowly making the migration from Sonar because of Cubase’s better support for film-scoring). Quick question… how can I make the metronome clicks I hear line up correctly with the visual barlines? They’re quite off. As a result, when I record something according to the metronome click, the results in the Key Editor are way off the grid. Any ideas? I’d appreciate any suggestions.

whats your system spec and is the time line on “seconds” instead of “bars and beats” ?

Ah, quite right, thanks… my time line in the main project view was bars and beats, but it was NOT on bars and beats in the key editor… so they weren’t lining up. Thanks!
