I am creating a score for the BBC CO and can’t seem to get the bar numbers to align in a consistent way in page view in my full score and the parts. I have gone into layout and selected align bar numbers across width of system. I’m ending up with something like this:
and this for the parts. Is it possible to create a line with the boxed bar signatures on? I don’t need any streamer markings though.
I also want to be able to break the ‘Determined’ tempo marking into two lines, like you would if you hit the return key in MS Word, so that it doesn’t go off the page. It would also be good to have the tempo markings above the string system as well. I tried copying and pasting, and it didn’t work.

For the second, I don’t think you can break a tempo mark over two lines. You could fake it by entering part of it as a tempo mark and part of it as system text that’s formatted the same way.
I don’t think there is any good solution.
I tried with a time-code staff (see file) and it only works well
if you untick automatically resolve collisions which might create trouble elsewhere. I also tried with a 1-staff instrument on top of the score. Better in some ways but you automatically get tempo and other system objects above that staff also.
