Hi there, I was able to do a lot with paragraph styles but I am not sure how to configure placement of bar numbers. I would love to make it universal throughout the entire score: bar numbers at the beginning of the system on each page, all aligned slight above the flare of the bracket. Right now it is placed to far right and no matter what I enter into the adjustments (padding, etc.) I keep getting the same result. Any help? thank you!
You could set the First Line Indent for the Paragraph Style to a negative value.
This is a bad idea if you ever have bar numbers mid-system, though; if that’s the case in other layouts then use a different paragraph style for bar numbers in those layouts.
