In a case where an open meter passage is required, Dorico counts the open bar as a single numbered bar, which makes sense, but the next “normal” bar after that does not compensate for the number of bars that the open meters spanned.
In the attached example, Violin 1 is given bar 5 where it is actually bar 7. That means the bar numbering is out for the rest of the piece. Importantly, this will only be evident in the part and not the score.

Are we supposed to create manual hidden bar numbers at the end of each open passage, in order to avoid this? I’m just verifying in case I’m missing a quicker solution (or setting).
