I struggle a bit with the bar rest settings for drum set. In this instance I would rather turn them off in notation options and just put them in myself when I want them. Is it possible to input your own bar rest in a voice for drum set? So far I can not find a way
You could apply this to the drum part layout.

This gets rid of them all together. Im talking about like when HH is playing but I want a rest in the kick voice. I know there are a couple notation options for this but they do not seem to always be consistent with what I want so I’d love to be able to just input a second voice bar rest like you can on a normal instrument staff into a drum layout
