Barline at end of system (repeat brackets)

I have a question about settings for ‘barline at end of system’

If you look at the selection in pink in my picture:
The upper staff looks the way i want it to (no barline before repeat bracket), but the lower staff is what my dorico defaults to. I can get rid of that barline before the bracket by setting the ‘Barline at end of system’ property to none per bracket. Is there a way to have this as a default engraving setting (or any other way to get rid of the barlines before repeat brackets)?

did you change the time signature before the repeat or use a different (local) time signature on one of the staves?
