Bass is bleeding high pitched sound(noise)

I laid down the drum and bass tracks for a mellow tune I’m creating. The bass sounds great except the very last note when the bass is held for two counts. A higher pitch is bleeding out badly. What do I use to clip that out of there?

I’m inexperienced with a DAW and this is when I don’t know if I should use a compressor or limiter, eq, or what!

Thanks!!!
Rob

Aloha r,

Sounds like that sound might be part of the bass sample.

Perhaps a noise gate would be effective in your situation.
There is a noise gate included with C6.
Might be worth a try.

Barring that, try another bass sample sound.

Another possibility is to remove that note and replace it with another similar note from earlier in the piece, if there is one. If there is but it’s too short, you could try time stretching to see if that sounds better.
