I would like to create for myself some albums that contain just the instrumental part. Is there a way to do an Unmix Song, mute the vocal layer and export as a mixdown in batches? I opened the batch module, and it allows to do unmix song, but as far as muting the vocal layer, it doesn’t seem possible.
This is for Spectralayers Pro 12 by the way.
I get better instrumental results with Ultimate Vocal Remover. You can download the latest beta Roformer version from GitHub here:
Look under “Installations” for Windows or Mac and then look for the beta Roformer version.
In the app itself you can download the Roformer models and run them individually or multiple different Roformer models combined in Ensemble mode, which might get even better results. You can add a selection of files (also via drag and drop) and let it run.
The results are very good, usually in ensemble mode you can just barely notice a slight crackle where the vocals were originally located.
