beam by beat with rests

Hi, thanks in advance!

In Sibelius I can get this output:

In Dorico I have this so far;

Is the first format achievable in Dorico?

I had a percussionist review the part and he said the notes need to be beamed by beat.

You can do this easily provided you choose to use stealers consistently, which you can set in Notation Options.
