I’m stuck with a common beam scenario… in the example, the beam should go between the staves, not below all 5 chords… anyone?
Select one of the three chords on the left-hand staff currently with their stem down, right-click and choose Stem > Force Stem Up.
That didn’t to it actually, but selecting the last three chords and “remove forced stem” did the trick… thanks
In imported MusicXML files the stem directions are always forced by default, so you have to undo that before you can make your own changes.
Thanks for the reminder! When I entered the same directly in Dorico, pressing M took care of everything, so no need to force anything. The graphical result is gorgeous, kudos!
