Beam split, Hairpin

1. Instead of selecting and splitting each beam one by one, is there a way to change all the beams in the desired measure at once, like using Beam Groups?

2.How can I make the hairpin extend only to the point marked in green?

1. Do you mean this? (In Notation Options > Beam Grouping)

2. Reduce the rhythmic grid to 16th (or still smaller) and change the length with SHIFT OPT/ALT ← / →

2. I am fairly confident there’s a preferences setting for this (gradual dynamics extend to the start of last note/end of last note)

You can renotate your time signatures accordingly to your needs (and hide them), for instance [1+1+1+1]/4 instead of 4/4

It’s been there since dorico 1 I think, and is a very powerful tool.
