Is there a way to set Dorico to beam 2/4 bars with four eighths as two groups of two instead of one group of four, but in only one flow and not document-wide? None of the options in Notation Options seems to cover this.
In the meter popover, type [1+1]/4.
After entering [1+1]/4 it changes into 2/4 (q,1+1) and Dorico keeps beaming 4 eighths together. Reset beaming doesn’t change it, either.
It beams as 2+2 eighths for me. Maybe you also need to change a setting in Notation Options along with that [1+1]/4.
Thanks, Dan. It was an oversight on my part: I was looking in the wrong Notation Options setting.
