No, I am in 4/4. And have tried deleting the time signature and place a new oneā¦ with no good results. A fresh file works fine
Thank you everyone for helping me out with this. I went through all the posts and did everything again to make sure I wasnāt missing any step. I donāt know what I did different this time different but it works. :O)

Hi, I am having this same problem but in 2/2 (with Dorico Pro 4). Is there different way to to solve this issue in a 2/2 meter, without having to manually separate the beams at every occurrence in a piece? Apologies if this has already been asked elsewhere. Thanks.
The most known workaround when dealing with 2/2 and Note Grouping, Beamings, etcā¦ (which are all in Notation options) is to change 2/2 to 4/4 on the second bar, and hide it in the properties, so that your file mostly behaves like a 4/4 file but itās not actually showing on the scoreā¦
