I’m sure I’m just not seeing how to do this, but within a 3/4 context I don’t want all of my eighth notes beamed together. Rather I want them grouped in pairs. The same applies in other contexts. I do spend a lot of my time editing beam breaks because I have no control over them in the input phase (as I would have had back in my happier days of using Score).
SPH, you will be glad to know that Dorico offers this through its Popover feature:
Look at the Notation Options for Beam grouping.
The very first option is whether beam groups cross the beat or not.
Much easier than Score!
