I am using Cubase Artist 6. I am trying to make a drum beat using Groove Agent One and the MIDI insert Beat Designer. I have selected the drum sounds I would like to use and made a drum map for them. I have used the drum map in Beat Designer and all my drums and their sounds show up. I have made a beat but I can’t get it into the beat designer track on the sequencer. How do you get the beat into the track?
there is a small triangle in the top left area of BD. Click that and a drop down menu appears. Select insert into project while the desired pattern is showing on the screen. I believe you can also drag and drop the keyboard key with the pattern you want right onto the arrange page.
