If one decide to create a pattern bank ( say step size 1/4 for 8 steps), after the first pattern one would copy that and would paste it into another pattern subbank to create more complex ( rhythmically and maybe more instruments). But then we need to change the step resolution & number of steps. But When we copy paste it, the step resolution & number of steps of the original pattern gets reflected into the destination’s step resolution & number of steps!
It would be great to have in preferences that Paste Option not to change Beat resolution & No. Of steps after paste. Another option would be ( needs redesign possible more useful), adding substeps, to divide using a context menu a step into subsets. This way one can even create more variably and control over flams and complexity of the beat.
