I have looked at all the info available out there and I haven’t found an answer yet.
I usually record my drums ‘‘live’’ from my keyboard controller. Sometimes, however, I like to record complex patterns and I find the midi insert Beat Designer a good tool to use. So far, I have only been able to click on the different boxes to generate the patterns. I find this a bit laborious, especially for fine tuning velocities.
I would love to get a blank pattern to run on Beat Designer and enter the sounds in real time directly from my keyboard to create complex patterns. If there is a way, please let me know.
It seems obvious to me that such a function in Beat designer would be extremely useful. It is probably there and I just have not found it yet.
