I have a chord with two accidentals that are touching and I want to nudge one of them. I see “note spacing change” and “Note spacing” options of reset layout, reset frames and reset systems but these don’t seem like the right place. I just want to see a handle on the flat that I can click and scoot, or know what my options are. Thanks!
Can you show a screenshot? Generally accidentals avoid colliding very well by default. Your system might be overfull.
You could try going to the Accidentals page of Library > Engraving Options and increasing Gap between accidental stacks to e.g. 1/4 space (from the default of 1/6 space).
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. The only one that seemed to make a difference was to change the gap between overlapping stacks. I set it to 1/2 and the accidentals are not colliding anymore. Yay!
