Hi guys,
I’m new to the VST technology.
I don’t need to elaborate the audio source in real time but as post processing.
So keeping in mind above, I would like to know if would be possible via VST, to create a plugin that automatically save an mp3 copy of the current track and to process it in some way to return some information.
If you think it is possible, are you able to point me on an example or useful information to achieve it, please?

Do you think that would be possible, by a VST plugin, to set the transport bar position on the DAV, for example clicking on a button?

No, you cannot control a DAW with the VST SDK. A VST plug-in is meant to alter or generate realtime audio signals.
